Tarazi Falafel, is gluten free, nondairy, and contains no meat, sugar, and wheat. It is “guilt-free” and vegan.
Our falafel mix is made from an old family recipe that includes ground chickpeas, fava beans, and various spices and herbs. It can be served as a baked or deep fried ball, used as a breading substitute to coat meat or fish, or because it is high in protein, served as a healthful substitute for meat.
It is usually served in pita bread, which acts as a pocket, or wrapped in a pliable flatbread known as laffa.
If you want to eat falafel the traditional way, you can top the falafel balls with topped with greens, pickled vegetables, hot sauce, and drizzled with tahini-based sauces.
You can eat them alone or served them as part of an appetizer plate.
